Hi! I’m Jamie and I’m a yoga teacher.
But being a yoga teacher doesn’t mean I automatically want to work out all day every day. This whole lock down distancing thing has definitely affected my motivation to move. So some days when I’m lounging on the couch binging Netflix, I get up and put on yoga clothes. Like, a full yoga class outfit. And somehow, it signals something in my brain. It reminds me that when I’m on the couch, I love the couch. But when I’m moving, I love moving my body. And my body loves to be moving!
So if you’re finding it hard to motivate yourself, try putting on your workout clothes. Maybe the outfit change will help your brain the way it does mine!
